Blacksburg is Worth an Extra Day

Five spots that make the trip better, and a discount waiting at every one.

I love Blacksburg. I have for my entire life, and have always considered it home, regardless of where I've lived.

Like I often do, I want you to picture a day there. It could be a fall weekend filled with tailgating and winning a big game in Lane Stadium. It could be a spring semester trip for a basketball or softball game, or a summer pilgrimage while the students are out of town.

You grab a coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Coffeeholics before the day gets going. Head over to Cabo Fish Taco for tacos and margaritas after a hike to the Cascades. You're staying an extra day (because why not!), so you have a room at Courtyard by Marriott Blacksburg or Main Street Inn. You get some breakfast (and beignets!) at Lefty's Main Street Grille, or swing back by later for dinner and beers.

With an ACC Road Trip Virginia Tech guide, every one of those five spots gives you an exclusive discount.

Cabo Fish Taco. Courtyard by Marriott Blacksburg. Main Street Inn. Coffeeholics. Lefty's Main Street Grille. Five Blacksburg places you should visit, each with a code that only guide subscribers get. And we're working on more.

Do the math. The Virginia Tech guide is $9.99. Use two of those five discounts on one trip and you already come out ahead. In some cases, one discount will do it.

On top of all of that is the information on hotels, food, drinks, and local tips and tools that make the trip easier, and you get it all for an entire year. We'll continue to improve the guides as the year goes along. We have them for all 18 ACC schools.

You can download a free cheat sheet for a small sample. That, and the full guide, is at accroadtrip.net.

See you on the road,

Paul
